Satori is a luxurious gullet inspired by 1920s understated elegance and built to bespoke specifications by Claus and Jeanette Thottrup, the owners of five-star hotel Borgo Santo Pietro in Tuscany. She is available for charter in the Italy, France, Greece and Croatia.
Bringing the hotel brand’s commitment to Michelin-starred farm-to-table dining to the Mediterranean seas, Satori promises a gourmet dining and sailing experience, with a galley managed by the hotel’s restaurant kitchen, including an air-conditioned 250-bottle wine cellar.
Activities onboard are managed by Borgo Santo Pietro’s expert concierge team arranging excursions and day trips ashore. The yacht is equipped with all manner of toys, such as Gocycle electric bikes, water skis, a wakeboard, an Optimist Sailor, a Ringo, jet skis, sea bobs, kayaks and snorkelling equipment.
Onboard Experience
Satori has five luxurious guest rooms accommodating up to ten guests. The master suite covers 36sqm and is fitted with a king-size bed, a free-standing walnut bathtub, a lounge area and an en suite bathroom with a double shower and vanity.
There are four further guest rooms; the first two span 15sqm and the second two span 11.5sqm – these cabins are fitted with queen-size beds and marble en suite bathrooms. All cabins also feature hand-made orthopaedic mattresses, a mini fridge, a safety deposit box, a phone for requesting room service, and a personal entertainment system with Apple TV, DVD with a film library, a music-loaded iPad and Wifi. One of the cabins may be converted into a dedicated spa treatment room on request, complete with a steam bath.
Inside Satori, a 35sqm lounge proves the perfect spot to recline with panoramic ocean views. Mid-deck, there’s a professional open-view kitchen, as well as an elegant mahogany bar and dining setting, allowing guests to actively observe the chef’s culinary mastery. A second coffee bar and lounge area on the aft deck with a covered daybed serves as a cosy spot for relaxing, while the top deck offers ample room for private sunbathing. On the front deck, guests can enjoy a state-of-the-art fold-away cinema screen complete with a large sunbed. On the upper deck, a line of sunbeds as well as nostalgic deck chairs situated mid-ship, which proves ideal for soaking up the Mediterranean sun and catching the salt spray while Satori ploughs through the waves.
With details such as hand-carved mahogany and walnut features, first-class modern rigging, large windows emphasizing natural light and a telescopic swim ladder that dips straight into turquoise waters, Satori’s immaculate design treats guests to the ultimate combination of luxury and nature.
