Seychelles - Inner Islands1

INNER ISLANDS

Perfectly positioned for paradisiac cruising within easy access of an international airport, the Inner Islands of the Seychelles offer some incredible scenery across 43 islands with plenty to suit honeymooners and adventurous families.

The cluster of main islands of Mahe, Praslin and La Digue feature dramatic granite boulders and towering coconut palms that are a signature of the Seychelles, not to mention ancient rainforest and nature reserves home to endemic birds and giant tortoises.

Seychelles - Outer Islands

OUTER ISLANDS

The Outer Islands of the Seychelles are made up of 72 remote coral islands situated beyond the Seychelles plateau, including Amirantes, Aldabra and Alphonse, among many low-lying sand cays and atolls.

Less visited than the granitic Inner Islands due to their relative remoteness, and some little more than sand spits or rocky outcrops, these beautiful castaway islands offer miniature worlds with untouched habitats for many species of wildlife and some incredible underwater topography, home to thriving marine life.

seasons & getting here

The temperature in the Seychelles is fairly consistent year round. The climate is tropical and humid, accompanied by a pleasant breeze. Temperatures sit at an average of mid to high twenties. Although tropical rains fall more frequently in January and February, they rarely affect more than a small area at once. The weather can still be perfect, merely miles away, around the islands.

The main airport in the Seychelles is Mahe International Airport. Mahe is connected with domestic flights to a range of other small airports across the atolls of the Maldives, and there are also helicopter charters available depending on your preferred itinerary.
