Nawaimaa is a popular Azimut motor yacht based in the Maldives all year-round, with an experienced crew. She launched in 2008 and was fully refitted in 2016.
Guests can experience the breath-taking beauty of the Maldivian islands from this performance-built yacht with impressive speed, accommodating up to 10 guests in four cabins.
Nawaimaa offers a number of water sports activities with equipment including a 14 foot tender, water skis, a jet ski, windsurfer, water tubes, fishing gear and snorkelling gear onboard.
Onboard Experience
Nawaimaa features a full beam master stateroom, an open plan salon, a large aft deck with alfresco dining, bow sunpads and an upper deck with dining and jacuzzi.
Nawaimaa’s four cabins offer comfortable accommodation for up to ten guests. Her elegant master cabin features a king size bed with settee under a large window. The VIP cabin offers a queen size bed. There are two additional cabins, each with two twin beds as well as a Pullman berth.
Nawaimaa’s main salon offers a long contoured couch across from a settee with a coffee table in between. Out on the aft deck, there is al fresco dining and lounge chairs. Bow sunpads are fitted for relaxation, while the upper deck features a Jacuzzi.

Your Crew
Captain Mohamed (Matte) Rasheed
Matte grew up on the shores of the Indian Ocean and spent his childhood sailing the Inner atolls. Upon completing his education, he started working on sailing yachts in 1999. He later switched to Motor Yachts and during his 16 years in the industry, he has worked on board the prestigious yachts. He joined Nawaimaa when she was being built. Matte prides himself on keeping a safe world class yacht, with a competent and motivated crew ready for the pleasure of hosting guests.
First mate Abdulla Abbas
Abdulla brings with him years’ worth of experience gained from 2 previous yachts and a great deal of experience and knowledge to ensure the smooth operation of the yacht. Even though Abdulla is available 24 hours a day to deal with engineering issues, he is also always willing to assist with any activities. Abdulla grew up spending lots of time on the water with his family and is a lively and energetic member of the team. As well as his keen interest in engineering works and he enjoys various water sports. Abdulla brings with him a keen sense of humor and is a good-natured enchanting character. He loves anything to do with engines!
Steward Kodippilige Ashen Ranushka
K. Ashen Ranushka brings with him years’ worth of experience gained from luxury hotels and resorts. He has worked with a cruise line since 2016, and is dedicated to ensuring his guests don’t want for anything. He enjoys the hospitality industry and is attentive to guests at all times, which is very characteristic of Nawaimaa crew members. With his approachable and cheerful manner, he aims to elevate the guest’s experience.
Chef Rasika Upendra
Rasika is a new addition to Nawaimaa having worked onboard small yachts. Before yachting, Rasika worked in several high profile restaurants in and around the Maldives, picked up the necessary skills to ensure guests are both entertained and safe whilst enjoying his gourmet cuisine. Coming from a family of chefs, this was a natural career choice.
